Currently Iberinsa's Project Manager for Cairo Ring Road Upgrading (Egypt), which involves infrastructure rehabilitation and feasibility studies for concession, aiming at the enhancement of public transportation.
Worked for Odebrecht Group in large construction projects in Brazil, USA, South Africa, Mozambique and Peru, adding up to almost US$600M in contract values. In the United States, both projects I took part in were contracted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. One of them, Seven Oaks Dam, was the biggest public construction contract in the U.S. at that time.
Worked as a technical consultant for the implementation of Salvador BOT Metro (subway) concession. I assisted the syndicate of urban transportation companies and established a joint venture with European rail operators, rolling stock manufacturers and investment bank.
Between 1999 and 2002, was Chief Inspector of Salvador airport expansion, a complex US$100M project funded by the Government and loan from IDB. Besides this project, I also supervised over 100 infrastructure jobs (popular housing, paving, drainage, sanitary landfills, housing) across the State, having strong interface with World Bank executives and mission.
Currently involved in consulting services for construction companies and private groups, on planning, scheduling, management and feasibility studies.
